My problem is narrowing down to anywhere close to 5 or even 10. I guess it also depends on how many services you offer.

I do carpet, tile and grout, upholstery, air ducts, hardwood, granite polishing, marble repair....and more. Trying to just have 5 or 10 is impossible. Here is what I carry generally.

    Flex with citrus powder
    Bio Break with citrusolv powder
    end zone rinse
    Citrussolv
    Fabric prespay
    OSR
    USR
    Molecular modifier
    Tile master,
    Matrix advanced protector
    Grout sealer
    Hydroforce hardwood floor cleaner
Hydroforce hardwood mat and semigloss refinish
    POG
    Red zone ready
    Deodorizers (a few scents)
    Traffic lane cleaner
    Bridgepoint spotting kit
    All fiber rinse

There is more but that is off the top of my head.

I can understand that- this is more of a 5 most used, i think. I use IFT and Squeeky from basic coating for hardwoods- they are awesome, if you haven't tried them- I highly recommend. You can use them with a brush pro and then cimex a polish and OMG from the client.

I'm reworking my chemical stock based in large part on this thread.

Do you guys not find it necessary to carry a stronger oxidizing stain remover than USR? No stain zone or similar?

As far as red stains, do you guys always include heat acceleration if needed? If so, what is the quickest (most profitable) tool to accomplish this?

Torrey - how do you dilute your encap to use as a general spotter?

I know this isn't the type of thing this forum focuses on, but being able to quickly and effectively deal with different situations we come across has a huge impact on profit.

    Great questions!

I don't generally use a stronger oxidizer than USR Mainly because I don't clean ultra dirty homes very often. So I rarely need a very strong USR.

On red stains I can generally pre-and post-spray with a normal red remover like red one, But if I want an immediate results I will simply use the damp folded towel And a normal steam iron per the instructions on red one.

As a general rule I just mix my encapsulation spotter per the instructions on the bottle.

    Cobbs Powermax...
    Cobbs Citrus....
Fels Naptha... (which I hardly have to use because of the 2 above ).......
    Urine stain remover....
    Protein stain remover......

Mix the last 2 together 50/50... works great.... plus you can use them alone.......
