So I got a call from a lady to clean her 10x12 front entry way. It's black slate tile. It has some finish/sealer on it. The grout lines are suppose to be like charcoal in color but about 1/2 has turned white over time.

I cleaned it with Tilemaster, SX-15, 1000psi at 190 or so degrees. As you can see the sealer/finish is very spotty. I have some Betco Extreme stripper, can I use that to strip the rest of the sealer off the floor?

She then wants me to color seal the grout lines back to charcoal and seal the entire floor... What do I do now? Looking for help on this one. Oh, also how would you charge for this? I charged 75.00 to clean it.

Images aren't showing, slate sucks sometimes when it's got heavy sealer. Is the white in the grout calcium or something?

I find it a lot harder to colour the grout with slate. Once I had to use an artists brush and paint it on.

Would I do the color seal first then seal the entire floor?

    I wouldn't color seal that.

Use a hand held grout brush to aggressive clean with an efflorescence cleaner like the one I just linked there by Aqua mix. Rinse then just reseal the whole floor. Color seal is not going to bond with that topical sealer in the grout lines...

Not positive but that sure looks like efflorescence in the grout lines in the pictures.

I ran into sealer on slate that needed to be removed once, and if I hadn't of charged a bunch, I would have lost my butt. I stripped it with something similar.
