Very sweet elderly lady somehow nicked her foot on something and it opened up an artery.

Her son and daughter started to try to clean it up and realized they needed a pro. There were several spots on the carpet too, but the majority was in the kitchen.

I have a soft spot for old people too.

Did you suit up heavily or just be super careful and clean yourself and tools afterwards?

You win the golden neckbrace award* for that job also. I bet it didnt take any time at all on that kind of floor.

I had a similar bloody mess on a kitchen floor that wasnt quite as big as the one shown above, from a dog. It smelled like death and I had to pull my shirt up over my nose.

*the golden neckbrace award is an award given out to individuals who go out and bust peoples heads open with big money tickets for easy work.

    Holy bat flaps, Grandma!
Nicked an artery, I'd say. Whoa, quite a squirter! You can tell from the spray pattern. Looks like quite a bit of blood. She is lucky she didn't bleed to death. Likely, since she was elderly, she was on a blood thinner to boot.

Nice work. Just hit is with your spinner and h2o2 based cleaner?

Probably should have used a HEPA kit but I don't carry them. I was just really careful, cleaned my way into the kitchen, and sanitized my tools afterwards. They rented a rug doctor and tried to clean the carpet themselves, so thankfully, the carpet was pretty clean.

I thought it would go really fast, and that's why I told them $200, but the large pools of blood were actually really difficult to get up. I would compare it to trying to clean dried paint only worse because you don't really want to get down and scrub on it and stuff, because you're trying to stay as far away from blood as possible.

When I first got there I just sprayed it with the carpet prespray that was already in my Hydroforce. Then I hooked up and started cleaning. The small drops and smudges cleaned up really easy, but the big thick areas were actually pretty difficult. So I put a scoop of Matrix Miracle in a quart pump sprayer with super hot water and used that as a "spotter". Once that ran out I realized I could just use Bad Dog, which I always carry on my hip anyway, and it worked pretty good too.

Damn! You know cleaning up a crime scene for a buddy makes you an accessory after the fact. Just saying. :)

Ok, you got me. Rob and Tre were in town for Comic-Con and got into a slap fight over who got to dress up like Princess Leia. The Baddest Truckmount was broken down so they had to hire me.

    Ive
    Had 3 nasty blood jobs.
First one, the guy cut his shin, and I think he was drunk. And crawled around his bedroom carpet.
sh!t kept coming back, and I undercharged.
    Made 3 trips.
Second was a neighbor, od, scalp glued to the kitchen floor with his dried pool of blood. The parametric were kind enough to leave parts of the scalp.
That was actually easy, I just used a bucket and mop, about an hour and 1/2.
    I got $500.00
Plus satisfaction, cause the basted was a real prick when he was alive.
    No love lost.
Third was a guy bled all over his br carpet. I used a lot of hydrogen peroxide, and it came out pretty good, but was no big money, since it took so long.
